The Horned Frogs locked down their fourth recruit of the 2026 class.
As TCU football prepares for the 2025 season, coaches have already started making moves for the future, with the Horned Frogs securing a commitment from 2026 three-star EDGE prospect Carter Buck from Austin, Texas. Buck becomes the fourth commitment of the 2026 class for TCU, which currently holds the No. 33 ranked class in the nation according to the 247Sports composite ratings. Buck is a 6-foot-5, 240-pound junior at Lake Travis who recorded 48 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks over 12 games as a sophomore.

Buck appeared in 11 games during his junior season in 2024, totaling 80 tackles along with 17 tackles for loss, seven sacks and one touchdown. The Lake Travis recruit held offers from Kansas, Arizona, Tulsa, North Texas and UNLV before choosing the Horned Frogs. TCU’s 2026 class includes a pair of four-star prospects in Arlington Martin’s Jesse Ford and Southlake Carroll’s Brock Boyd. TCU also holds a commitment from Iowa Colony’s Will Terry.
