Calgary is 4-5-1 in the last 10 games and this includes two consecutive losses. Jonathan Huberdeau has bounced back this season with 22 goals and 21 assists for the Flames.
Pyotr Kochetkov is the projected starter for Carolina, which is 4-6 in the last 10 games. The Hurricanes are coming off a 3-1 loss the the Edmonton Oilers are Saturday. Potential trade candidate Mikko Rantanen has a season-total of 27 goals and 43 assists for Carolina.
It’ll be a tough ask for Carolina to come off a tough game against Edmonton the night before. However, the Hurricanes will get the victory.
Prediction: Hurricanes win 3-2.

Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

The second and final game of our NHL predictions has the Nashville Predators taking on the New York Rangers. Justus Annunen is the likely starter for Nashville, which is coming off a loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday. The Predators are 3-7 in the last 10 games and are already starting to make changes to their lineup. Filip Forsberg has been a bright spot this season 22 goals and 32 assists for Nashville.
Igor Shesterkin is the projected starter for the Rangers, who are 5-5 in the last 10 games. New York has been inconsistent as of late and that’s hurt pursuit of a Stanley Cup Playoff spot. J.T. Miller has looked at home once again with 14 goals and 31 assists for the Rangers.
Nashville did get the shutout in the first meeting of the season. However, the Rangers pick up a much-needed win.
Predictions: Rangers win 4-1.
