- Well, the Rangers ended the season on a high note.
- If only the whole 2024 season had been like this.
- Nathan Eovaldi was great, Jose Leclerc and David Robertson pitched well out of the pen. All three guys are free agents after the season.
- Offensively, the bats were quiet much of the game before exploding late. Every Ranger starter other than Travis Jankowski got a hit in the game.
- Most significantly, Dustin Harris got his first major league in the game, an RBI double, as well as his first major league homer. Way to go, Dustin!
- Nathaniel Lowe, who has speculated to be potentially playing elsewhere next season, also doubled and homered.
- It is nice to have some positivity heading into the offseason.
- Nathan Eovaldi topped out at 96.2 mph with his fastball, averaging 94.6 mph. Jose Leclerc hit 95.3 mph with his fastball. David Robertson’s cutter reached 95.4 mph.
- Nathaniel Lowe’s home run was 106.0 mph off the bat, and he had a 100.2 mph double. Dustin Harris had a 102.1 mph line out and a 101.6 mph double to go with his 98.6 mph home run. Josh Smith had a 100.8 mph force out.
- Thats a wrap.
