Pitcher Luis Curvelo has officially been signed by the Texas Rangers to a major league deal
The Texas Rangers have signed free agent pitcher Luis Curvelo to a major league deal, the team announced today. With that signing, the 40 man roster now stands at 37.
It had been reported on Sunday that Curvelo and the Rangers were close on a deal, and I wrote about Curvelo then, and don’t really have anything to add on the topic since then, so I will suggest that you click on the link and read that post instead of reiterating everything here.
In addition, the Rangers officially announced that former Miami Marlins manager Skip Schumaker has joined the club as a senior advisor. That news broke over a week ago, and I wrote about that at the time as well. Once again, I have nothing new to add, so instead of just writing the same thing again, I will encourage you to go read that post from last week.
Or not. Its up to you.
