Caden Scarborough started for Hickory, giving up two runs in 3.2 IP, striking out seven and walking two. Jake Jekielek struck out four and walked one in two scoreless innings. Kai Wynyard struck out one in a scoreless inning.
Maxton Martin continues to rake for Hickory, going 2 for 4 with a triple. Chandler Pollard had a hit and a stolen base.
Hub City starter Paul Bonzagni struck out seven and walked none while giving up one run in five innings. Larson Kindreich struck out two and walked two, allowing a Zombie Runner to score in two innings.
Anthony Gutierrez was 3 for 5 with a double and a pair of stolen bases. Esteban Mejia had a walk and a stolen base. Dylan Dreiling had a pair of walks. Gleider Figuereo and Danyer Cueva each drew a walk.
