Another wasted first inning rally ultimately dooms Texas
The Texas Rangers scored two runs but the Seattle Mariners scored nine runs.
I don’t know. It’s basically midnight and the Rangers are 8-34 in Seattle since the pandemic. I’m not wasting more time on this.
Player of the Game: Someone named Caleb Boushley gave the Rangers 3 2⁄3 innings of less than stellar relief to save the bullpen from having to absorb another poor and short outing from the night’s starter — in this case, Kumar Rocker who looks nothing like the pitcher that debuted at T-Mobile Park like six or seven months ago.
Up Next: The finale of this series will see RHP Nathan Eovaldi try to help Texas salvage a game in this series while RHP Logan Gilbert, who has dominated the Rangers during his career, will pitch from Seattle.
The Sunday afternoon first pitch from T(the t stands for torture)-Mobile Park is set for 3:10 pm CT and will be shown on the Rangers Sports Network.
