The Rangers finished things just as they began them at home
The Texas Rangers scored six runs while the Seattle Mariners scored five runs.
Let’s just forget about everything that happened in between and enjoy the fact that the Rangers began their season at home with a walk-off win and ended their home schedule with a walk-off win.
And hey, if it was to screw over the M’s who couldn’t hold a 5-0 lead (Texas’ biggest comeback of the year!), then all the better!
Player of the Game: Wyatt Langford continued his torrid September to give a glimpse of what he can be after a season where he had his fair share of rookie year ups and downs.

Against a pitcher who came into the game sporting a 2.85 ERA in 20 starts, Langford launched a three-run home run to get Texas back into the game.
Also, bonus props to Leody Taveras who has had a…let’s say divisive 2024 season, but today he homered to tie the game and then hit a two-out single in the ninth, stole second, and scored on Marcus Semien’s game-winning hit.
Up Next: The Rangers enjoy their final day off on Monday before embarking on their final road trip of the season which will begin in Oakland for the last time in the last ever series at the Coliseum. RHP Nathan Eovaldi could be making his last ever start for Texas opposite RHP Mitch Spence for Oakland.
The Tuesday evening first pitch in the final series at the Oakland Coliseum is scheduled for 8:40 pm CT and will air on BS Southwest.
