Victory+ will be making 2025 Texas Rangers games available on streaming for $100 for the season
We have good news for Texas Rangers fans on the television broadcast front.
Per Evan Grant, the Rangers have agreed to a multi-year deal to have Texas Rangers games streamed on Victory+, with the price point being at $100 for the season. The Rangers Twitter account states that this is a “first step,” and that they are continuing to work towards providing additional options to make the broadcasts this season available.
As you may recall, the Rangers’ broadcast situation has been in flux for a while due to the Diamond Sports bankruptcy. The Rangers had previously had a long-term deal with the Fox Sports Southwest regional network to broadcast games. Fox Sports Southwest was one of the regional sports networks acquired by the Sinclair Group and folded into a new RSN called Diamond Sports. It turned out that Diamond Sports was not making enough money under the existing deals, and ended up filing for bankruptcy. The end result was that the Rangers getting the broadcast rights to their games back after the 2024 season.
