Star pass rusher Micah Parsons seemingly reacts to a trade rumor on social media, which could happen, considering the Dallas Cowboys might be rebuilding. According to his Twitter, Parsons didn’t have to use words to react to the fanbase that he may be the next man to be on the trade block in Dallas. The sports world erupted when the Dallas Mavericks from the NBA made a blockbuster trade to send Luka Doncic in exchange for Los Angeles Laker Anthony Davis. Yes, this is still the NFL, but the trade was surprising to get several athletes to react to the news on social media.
However, many Cowboys fans took to Twitter and said Parsons could be the next person to head to another team out of Dallas in a trade. Originally selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the former Penn State product became one of the best defensive catapults, recording 52.5 sacks, nine pass deflections, one touchdown and 256 total tackles. Now, it’s time for the Dallas Cowboys to pay up since he is eligible for an extension. However, it shouldn’t be surprising if the team waits until the last minute.
The Cowboys have done this before with stars Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb with their recent contract extensions. Although ESPN Dan Graziano says the team might have to break the bank, Jerry Jones could be reluctant in doing so since it’s every year or so he has something up his sleeve he might pull off. Whatever happens, it shouldn’t be surprising if the Cowboys trade Parsons since they look like they’re establishing a tanking coaching staff.

“You’re Next” Micah Parsons Reacts to Cowboys Trade Rumors – Chargers, Ravens May Pull Off the Unthinkable?
The Parsons’ Trenches
If anyone can bring out Parsons’ best yet to come in the postseason, it’s head coach Jim Harbaugh. He has a strong philosophy he’s establishing that could fit Parsons well in the first week of next season if the trade happens. Former Cowboy tight end Peyton Hendershot said it himself, the Cowboys are more about the public image rather than winning football games. Since that is likely the case, Parsons might become the next star on the Chargers defense and they have the salary cap for it.
Meanwhile, they’re hoping at least to retain Khalil Mack who may test free agency and Joey Bosa who could be in a new uniform. While Harbaugh will pay close attention to help build a supporting cast for quarterback Justin Herbert, the Chargers should get all of the defensive stars while they have the financial freedom and get themselves ahead of the curve in a competitive AFC. With hopes to re-sign Poona Ford, he and Parsons could be a serious duo threat in the trenches in getting after the quarterback.
Freeing Up Salary Cap
For the Ravens, money might not be on their side, but the team could make something work if it means bringing in Micah Parsons. The team had to embrace Trent Simpson doing much of nothing while they lost veteran Jadeveon Clowney last offseason. Roquan Smith is aging, so they have to avoid letting his talents go to waste if there isn’t any balance on the defense. Parsons, Smith and Kyle Van Noy might be the next three-set defensive monsters that could finally make the Ravens a scary competitor next postseason.
