Larry Allen was one of the most physically imposing players in the NFL during his 14-year playing career.
The massive offensive lineman, who passed away tragically Sunday while on vacation with his family in Mexico, was known for his freakish athleticism and brute strength.
In the wake of Allen’s death, the legendary video of him bench pressing 700 pounds is once again going viral on social media. Allen, who also once benched 225 pounds for 43 reps at the Pro Bowl, was filmed maxing out at seven bills inside the Dallas Cowboys’ weight room in 2001.
If you’ve never seen this insane feat, take a look.

The amount of weight is so prodigious, the bar looks like it’s about to snap. Just a ridiculous display of strength.
An 11-time Pro Bowler and six-time first-team All-Pro who played every position on the offensive line except center during his Hall of Fame career, Allen was remembered fondly by several of his former teammates on Monday.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to his family,” former Dallas star running back Emmitt Smith said in an emotional video on Instagram. “My heart is just broken.”
Quarterback Troy Aikman also recalled Allen as a “gentle giant that loved his family.”
Allen is survived by his wife, Janelle, and three children, Jayla, Loriana and Larry III.
