Joe Buck is calling the final NFL game of his 2021-22 season on Sunday night.
FOX has the NFC Championship Game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. They’re set to play at 6:30 p.m. E.T. in Southern California. It’s the final NFL game of the year for FOX, as NBC has the Super Bowl.
Buck is coming off a pretty eventful couple of months. He calls the NFL and MLB for FOX, so his falls are typically pretty insane.
Thankfully for Joe, he has a solid family life at home.
Buck is married to Michelle Beisner-Buck, a fellow reporter. The football couple was married in 2014 and welcomed twins into the world in 2018.
At first, Michelle was reluctant to date the veteran broadcaster.
From The Ringer:
“Don’t you want to know who it is?” Eisen asked.
“I started rattling off names,” Beisner said last month. “I was like, ‘Troy Aikman.’ ‘Cris Collinsworth.’ ‘Al Michaels,’ I even said.”
“No,” Eisen said.
“Please don’t say it’s Joe Buck,” Beisner said.
“Well,” Eisen said, “it is Joe Buck and why would you say that?”
Eventually, Michelle agreed to meet up with Joe, and she was surprised by him. She thought he might’ve been arrogant.
“I mean, the complete and opposite end of the spectrum,” she told The Ringer.
Joe and Michelle have been happily married for several years. They’ll get to enjoy some much needed relaxation following the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.
Kickoff between the 49ers and Rams is set for 6:30 p.m. E.T.
The game will air on FOX.
