The Dallas Cowboys are a family business.
Jerry Jones has owned the team since 1989. His family has become very involved in the day-to-day operations of the NFL franchise, with his sons and daughter all having active roles within the organization.
His longtime wife is active, too.
Jerry is married to Eugenia Jones. The happy couple has been married since 1963. They have three children together and seven grandchildren.
Jerry and Gene met on a blind date while attending school together at the University of Arkansas.
The Cowboys owner played college football at Arkansas. He’s since become a major booster for the Razorbacks program.

Gene Jones has stood by her husband’s side throughout his career in the NFL. In fact, Gene presented Jerry at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Gene Jones played a big role in the building of the Cowboys’ new stadium, AT&T Stadium. She reportedly picked out all of the art for the stadium.
The “mother” of the Cowboys franchise maintains a big role in the franchise operations, too.
It’s been a tough offseason for the Cowboys, who fell in the Wild Card round to the 49ers.
Jerry Jones and Co. will look to make a deeper run in 2022.
