Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore could be heading elsewhere this offseason. As of now, he’s considered a finalist for the Miami Dolphins’ head coaching vacancy.
“Both Kellen Moore and Mike McDaniel are slated for later in the week,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said. “The two known Dolphins finalists.”
Moore showed a lot of potential as a play-caller this season, but the jury is still out on him as a head coach. Nonetheless, the Dolphins have seen enough to bring him in for a second interview.
Although the Cowboys would like to keep their coaching staff together for the 2022 season, there are a few fans in Dallas that would be fine with Moore leaving for the Dolphins.

Some fans believe Moore would be a good fit for the Dolphins. After all, he knows how left-handed quarterbacks, like Tua Tagovailoa, operate under center.

Overall though, NFL fans are starting to question why the Dolphins even fired Brian Flores in the first place.
“Pretty clear that foolishly firing Brian Flores shockingly made this job infinitely less attractive. What a dumpster fire,” one fan tweeted.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently said that he believes Moore will be back for the 2022 season.
Jones will find out fairly soon if that’s truly the case.
