Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has never been afraid to speak his mind and that was true once again during Monday’s Sunday Ticket trial.
He took a shot at the Cincinnati Bengals, saying that he’d make a lot more money than the Bengals.
“I am convinced I would make a lot more money than the Bengals,” Jones said, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk). “I’m completely against each team doing TV deals. It is flawed.”
Jones and Bengals owner Mike Brown have disagreed for a while about league revenue sharing so it’s no surprise to see the former take a shot here.
Jones will be back on Tuesday to say more so it’ll be interesting to see if he takes another shot at an NFL owner.
Brown has owned the Bengals since 1991 when he inherited the team from his father, Paul. On the other hand, Jones has owned the Cowboys since 1989.
The Cowboys are coming off another loss in the wild-card round of the playoffs this past season while the Bengals missed the playoffs.
However, the Bengals have made some deep playoff runs over the last few seasons, including getting to Super Bowl LVI just a couple of years ago.
