Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones declined to answer a notable question about the team’s coaching situation on Tuesday.
The Cowboys have a couple of assistant coaches who should be prime head coaching candidates this offseason.
Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn could be in contention to land head coaching gigs for 2022. Moore is thought of as one of the best offensive minds in the game, while Quinn has done a tremendous job with the Dallas defense.
However, Jones is refusing to provide any information on their future right now.
Dallas’ owner was asked on Tuesday if he’s been asked permission for Moore and/or Quinn to interview for head coaching opportunities.
“It’s in everybody’s best interest to win when you’re in the situation we’re in right now,” Jones told 103.5 The Fan.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan declined to say if he has heard from other teams about possibly interviewing OC Kellen Moore and DC Dan Quinn for head coaching openings. “It’s in everybody’s best interest to win when you’re in the situation we’re in right now.”

It would be pretty surprising if Moore and/or Quinn don’t get head coaching interviews, but Jones isn’t going to provide any information right now.
The Cowboys, 11-4 on the season, will take on the Cardinals this Sunday afternoon.
Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. E.T.
