Dak Prescott is attending this year’s Tight End University, but his presence at the event isn’t what caught people’s attention on Monday.
Rather, it was Prescott’s style choice that had fans talking. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, who is in the middle of trying to negotiate a long-term contract with the team, showed up in Nashville wearing a New York Yankees jersey.
Immediately, people began commenting on his jersey choice, wondering if it signifies that Prescott is heading to another NFC East team in free agency.
“Yup he’s a Giant next year,” one person said.
“Dak is a Giant bro no shot it’s over,” a Cowboys fan added.
“Wants to be a Giant so bad,” said a third person.
“He’s such a Giant,” a Giants fan agreed.
“Yankees jersey? Dak to Giants confirmed?” wondered someone else.
“Yep he’s gone next year lol,” said another Cowboys fan.
The Giants currently have Daniel Jones and Drew Lock as their top two quarterbacks, but Lock is a free agent after this year and New York could potentially cut ties with Jones if he underperforms again.
That would leave them in the running for a quarterback next offseason, and as of now, Prescott is going to hit the open market.
