Tributes continue to pour in from Larry Allen’s former NFL teammates as they mourn his untimely passing.
On Monday, ex-Cowboys great Darren Woodson shared a photo of the Hall of Fame lineman to social media captioned: “Hands down the ‘baddest MF’er on the planet!’ WESTSIDE!!”
Fans appreciated Woodson’s post in the comments.
“I’m a diehard Giants fan but this dude was a legit beast in the trenches,” a New Yorker said.
“Still one of my all time favorite HOF inductee speeches,” a user recalled.
“Man I remember when I would assemble my madden rosters during his prime, Larry Allen was automatic starting 5 on my o line,” a fan tweeted.
“We lost a legend,” another person replied.
“Football immortality. RIP to a great player, teammate and man.”

Allen passed away over the weekend at the age of 52 while vacationing with his family in Mexico.
In 14 seasons between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, Allen was selected to 11 Pro Bowls, was a six-time first-team All-Pro, a Super Bowl champion and a two-time all-decade team member.
Over the course of his NFL career, Allen lined up at every position but center and performed at an elite level. He is widely regarded as one of the best interior lineman to ever play the game and one of the strongest as well.
May he rest in peace.
