Jake Ferguson took a massive jump during his second year with the Dallas Cowboys in 2023.
After only recording 174 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 2022, he compiled 71 receptions for 761 yards and five touchdowns in 2023.
It was a great season for him but he’s ready for more heading into year three.
“To me, I think I’m not even scratching my surface,” Ferguson said, via ESPN. “There’s so many things that I want to get better at and I know I can get better at. We watch film every day of different games, even the practices we’re doing now and I’m like, ‘OK, I can get a lot better still.’”
He’ll be looking to set new career highs with all of those numbers and maybe even notch his first 1,000-yard season. He could also notch an All-Pro honor if he has a great in 2024.
Ferguson will also try and helo the Cowboys end a near 30-year drought. It’s been 29 years since they last won a Super Bowl, let alone been to one.
The Cowboys will open the 2024 season against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 8.
