The Cowboys are dogs on the road.
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off another loss to the San Francisco 49ers, making it four in a row against their NFC rival. They have dropped to 3-4 on the season and are looking up in the NFC East at both the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles.
For their next game they must travel to the home of the Atlanta Falcons, a team that is leading the NFC South with a 5-3 record after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Falcons appear to be ascending while the Cowboys are headed in the opposite direction. Dak Prescott’s erratic play over the last few weeks has made it hard for the Cowboys offense to get any kind of rhythm. He’s not being helped much by an anemic running game and an unreliable offensive line.
Perhaps they will get Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland for their Week 9 contest, and that may inject some life into the team. As it is, they are 1.5-point underdogs to the Falcons according to FanDuel. It is actually kind of surprising that they are not bigger dogs for this game given recent events.
Is there anybody taking those odds and betting on Dallas?
