Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers unveiled his own celebratory dance late in the 34-3 win over the Oklahoma Sooners at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas after scoring on a one-yard touchdown runs with 5:21, the game’s final touchdown.

The celebration pays tribute to the summer’s viral song, “We Bring the BOOM” by AJ and Big Justice.

The father-son duo based in Boca Raton, Florida are known for their Costco vlogs and food reviews and released “We Bring the BOOM” in early July.
“We were just out there trying to have some fun with it,” Ewers said on Monday in response to a question from his center, redshirt senior Jake Majors. “Shoutout AJ. Shoutout Big Justice.”

The late-game zone read was the first rushing touchdown for Ewers this season after finding the end zone himself five times in 2023.
