Two key starters for the Longhorns may miss the game.
The Texas Longhorns released the team’s initial injury report for Saturday’s game against the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville with three key updates.
After head coach Steve Sarkisian called senior safety Andrew Mukuba “questionable” on Monday with the left knee injury sustained against Georgia, the Clemson transfer was downgraded to doubtful on Wednesday’s injury report. Sarkisian hinted that the staff would be conservative with Mukuba’s injury given the bye week coming up after the trip to Nashville.
In addition, junior wide receiver Isaiah Bond is questionable after playing through an ankle injury from the Oklahoma game. Bond was able to start last Saturday, but couldn’t play the whole game.
Sophomore running back Quintrevion Wisner is also probable with an undisclosed injury.
