Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers had a highlight-reel touchdown pass during Saturday’s game against Colorado State.
Ewers threw a no-look touchdown pass to Matthew Golden when it looked like he was going to another player.
This is something you don’t teach and it shows how great of a quarterback Ewers is. There’s a reason why he’s arguably the best quarterback in college football for the 2025 season.
Texas is taking care of business against Colorado State through the first two-and-a-half quarters with a 38-0 lead. Ewers threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns before coming out of the game in favor of Arch Manning.
Manning then threw his first touchdown pass later in the third quarter.
The Longhorns are seen as a contender to win the SEC and the College Football Playoff after making the CFP last year. They also have a lot of players returning, including Ewers.
Their first big test will come next week when they play the defending champion Michigan Wolverines. It’ll be a matchup between two of the best 10 teams in the country.
