Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick is headed to Texas.
The 6-foot-11, 230-pound big man averaged 6.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks as a junior. He also considered Duke, Missouri, Kansas State and Xavier.
“I chose Texas because I trust the vision that Coach Terry has for me,” Shedrick told On3. “I’m looking forward to play in a free offense while still playing defense at a high level. I feel like I can show more of what I can do on both ends of the floor at Texas.”
Also on Sunday, senior forward Dylan Disu announced he would return for another season after averaging 8.8 points and 4.4 rebounds.
“The show goes on!” Disu said in his post.
Texas is also hosting Class of 2024 Montvede (FL) Academy five-star forward Liam McNeeley on a visit starting Sunday night.
