The one-time Clemson Tigers commit was a late offer by secondary coach Terry Joseph and the Longhorns, but that wasn’t enough to derail his interest. His decommitment coincided with the day he reportedly received an offer from the Longhorns and just a week later he was on campus for a visit. Littleton announced his commitment less than a week after his visit, adding another key piece for Joseph and Pete Kwiatkowski’s defense.
The No. 75 player overall and the No. 9 cornerback in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite, the 6’0, 180-pound Littleton holds 40 reported offers, including Michigan and Penn State, the other two schools he visited during his recruitment. Florida, Georgia, and Alabama all offered as well, but none received an official visit from the coveted defender.
Littleton joins the class as the fourth top-100 defender and the second in the secondary, alongside safety Jonah Williams, edge Lance Jackson, and linebacker Elijah Barnes for Kwiatkowski’s group. His addition jumps Texas to the No. 5 class overall for 2025, jumping Auburn for that spot despite five fewer commitments than their fellow SEC school.
Not only does Littleton join a stacked class, but his commitment is evidence of the Longhorns’ continued ability to go into Florida and grab elite talent. Texas now has three top-15 players from the Sunshine State in the class of 2025, joining Jerrick Gibson and CJ Baxter from the previous two cycles. The Horns also hold a commitment from 2026 consensus five-star quarterback Dia Bell, another Florida product.
