Vasek’s change in status was the only alteration to the injury report for the Longhorns on Friday.
The No. 5 Texas Longhorns will be without redshirt freshman edge Colton Vasek on Saturday against the Florida Gators in Austin, according to the Friday injury report from the Longhorns.
Downgrading Vasek from doubtful to out was the only change from the Thursday injury report for Texas with junior wide receiver Isaiah Bond and senior safety Andrew Mukuba both listed as probable.
Florida will be without 12 players at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, including leading receiver Elijah Badger and starting right guard Damieon George Jr. Leading rusher Montrell Johnson Jr. may not be available, either — he’s listed as questionable. Quarterback DJ Lagway is also listed as questionable hours after ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that the former consensus five-star prospect will be a game-time decision on Saturday morning.
