Texas set to host one of their highest rated targets this weekend.
Right on the heels of their big victory in Ann Arbor, Texas is now scheduled to host a high priority target over the weekend.
Per multiple reports, five-star San Antonio (TX) Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry III will be taking an unofficial visit to Texas this weekend for the matchup against UTSA.

Terry is fresh off of a visit to Nebraska, where he took in the Cornhuskers’ matchup against Colorado last weekend. Terry will now make a return trip to Austin to see the Longhorns before making another visit back to Eugene to see Dan Lanning and Oregon.
Thanks @CoachSark for making it official. Couldn’t thank you and your coaching staff enough. @coachchoice @milwee4 @ChrisGilbert_1 @Coach_Gideon @ciege81 #blessedbythebest #AGTG pic.twitter.com/Jko1k3f3c4

Terry is ranked as the number one athlete is in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings and he is rated as the 32nd’s overall player in the country by the same metrics. He is one of the highest rated players left on Texas’ big board and the Longhorns have remained in good position in the recruitment since committing to recruiting him as an offensive weapon.
With official visits already in the rearview for teams in the thick of it and Terry making another tour of perceived finalists, it seems like things could be winding down in this recruitment. With the Longhorns holding the proximity advantage in this one, it will be interesting to see if Steve Sarkisian and his staff can seal the deal and continue their pursuit to solidify another top five recruiting class.
