Jane Slater spends her Sundays covering games for the NFL Network. This past Saturday, Slater was in attendance at the annual Red River Rivalry in Dallas.
Slater, who mostly chronicles the Dallas Cowboys for NFL Network, is a University of Texas alum. A proud Longhorn, she usually attends a game or two every season and posts about it on social media. Saturday’s matchup against archrival Oklahoma was a dream for Slater and her fellow UT fans, as the top-ranked Longhorns blew out OU 34-3, holding the Sooners scoreless after the first quarter.
On Sunday, Slater shared some photos from the afternoon, which included her wearing a cowgirl-themed outfit that consisted of jean shorts, a Texas tank top and boots.
“X/OU weekend. Hung in there like the Horns in the first quarter on those first few drives. Love seeing all my humans once a year and Elderbook as the added bonus. #hookem,” Slater wrote in the caption.
Slater has a massive social media following, with more than 109,000 followers on Instagram, many of whom offered comments on her latest post.
“Absolutely stunning Jane!!! I’m at a loss for words!” one person commented.
“The beautiful and talented Jane slater ❤️,” another fan wrote.
“Always say it. Jeez Jane! 🙂 Peace sista!” added a third person.
“Hook EM,” a fourth person said.
“So fun seeing you….you look gorgeous✨✨✨,” a friend chimed in.
While the team Slater roots for had a great Saturday, the one she covers fared poorly on Sunday.
The Cowboys lost 47-9 to the Detroit Lions to fall to 3-3 on the season and 0-3 at home.
