Longhorns Daily News: Two Texas football players earn SEC player of the week honors

Plus: Another SEC win for Texas volleyball

Two Texas Longhorns players received the Southeastern Conference’s latest player of the week honors, including sophomore linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. and junior offensive lineman Kelvin Banks. In Texas’ Red River Rivalry win over Oklahoma this past weekend, Hill recorded 11 tackles, 2 sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble.

Meanwhile, Banks were a focal point in the Texas offense’s ability to produce more than 400 yards in offense last week.
