Texas Longhorns true freshmen Ryan Wingo, a wide receiver, a Colin Simmons, an edge, have been named to On3’s latest Midseason True Freshmen All-American roster. From On3: “Wingo, a product of St. Louis (Mo.) University High, has 11 receptions for 247 yards and two touchdowns this season. He also had one rush for 55 yards against Michigan. … Simmons, a product of Duncanville (Texas), has 18 total tackles with 6.0 TFL and 4.0 sacks plus a forced fumble.”
