Plus: Texas softball falls in latest national polls
Former Texas Longhorns golfer Scottie Scheffler is the No. 1 player in the world. In both 2022 and 2024, he won the Master’s Cup. But that wasn’t the case this year, as Scheffler officially finishes fourth overall, according to a recent report in Sports Illustrated.
“It was easily a week in which I could have gotten frustrated with either how I was playing or how I was swinging or stuff going on on the course, not hitting it where I was looking,” Scheffler said following the tournament’s official close, per SI.
