If you’re an Oklahoma fan, chances are you turned off today’s Red River Showdown game against Texas at around halftime. But if you kept your TV on long enough, you got to see the father of Texas’ No. 2 quarterback sporting one of the most interesting hats we’ve seen all year.
By the fourth quarter of the game, Texas had long-since secured victory, leading the Sooners 34-3 with less than three minutes to play. ABC’s cameras decided to pan to members of the audience, they spotted Cooper Manning – eldest brother of Peyton and Eli, and father to Texas quarterback Arch Manning. The former wide receiver was spotted an absolutely massive cowboy hat that had a stripe of Texas burnt orange on it.

Fans loved seeing Manning’s hat, with some calling it the biggest hat they’d ever seen:
“Cooper Manning with the biggest hat in the history of hats,” one user wrote.
“Cooper Manning with a 100 gallon hat,” another joked.
“Outrageous sized hat Cooper Manning is rocking,” a third wrote.
Manning didn’t get a chance to see his son play this week as Quinn Ewers got his starting job back coming off of an injury. And with the way Ewers played today – 20 of 29 for 199 yards and one touchdown plus another rushing touchdown – it could be a while before Arch Manning sees the field again barring an injury.
