The future may be now for Arch Manning and the Texas Longhorns.
Getting some snaps in Texas’ game vs. UTSA after Quinn Ewers’ injury on Saturday, Manning made a pair of plays that reminded everyone why he was the top-ranked player in his class.
Upon entering, Arch immediately connected with DeAndre Moore Jr. on a 19-yard score before taking off an a 67-yard touchdown run off a read option play. The UT offense certainly appears to be in good hands.

“Why isn’t Texas starting their best QB?” a user asked.
“I need Arch Manning to be good we as a society need to see a Manning on Sundays again,” another said.
“Y’all forgetting Arch is the son of the Manning brother that was the wide receiver,” a fan pointed out.
“Oh, yeah, he can sling it, too …”
“Every time we get a glimpse of Arch Manning he just seems like the second coming of the golden era please just let him start,” another person pleaded.
Few prospects have the type of pedigree Manning has considering his uncles are Peyton and Eli and his grandfather, Archie, was a two-time Pro Bowler and Heisman Trophy finalist.
As college football fans it feels like we’ve been waiting for this moment forever. It may just be another tease though if Ewers is able to return to the field soon.
