The nation’s top 3-point shooter was chosen 29th overall, the second Horned Frog selected in Monday
After going 20 years with no players being selected in the WNBA Draft, TCU Women’s Basketball had multiple players picked in a single Draft for the first time in program history when the Seattle Storm selected Horned Frogs guard Madison Conner in the Third Round on Monday night, No. 29 overall.
Joining the Horned Frogs ahead of the 2023-24 season after three seasons with the Arizona Wildcats, Conner flourished in the Mark Campbell system. The Chandler, AZ native hit the century mark for made 3-pointers each of her two years in Fort Worth, setting the TCU single season record for most made 3FGs the first year and breaking it again this past season, draining 128 shots from beyond the arc.
