The 6-foot-7 standout earned All-Big 12 First Team honors this season.
TCU center Sedona Prince announced on her Instagram account Wednesday that she will enter her name into the 2025 WNBA Draft after a stellar two-year run for the Horned Frogs. The 6-foot-7 standout averaged 17.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game while shooting 58.3 percent from the field during the 2024-25 season, helping lead TCU to a 34-4 record and its first ever trip to the Elite Eight. Prince took home All-Big 12 First Team honors and was named an All-American Honorable Mention by the AP, USBWA and WBCA.
Prince played two seasons for the Horned Frogs, leading TCU to a 21-12 record during the 2023-24 campaign in which the team was forced to hold open tryouts due to a massive swath of injuries. Prince, who was limited to 21 games due to a broken finger, averaged 19.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game last season, earning an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention as well as finalist honors for the 2023-24 Lisa Leslie Award. Prior to arriving at TCU, Prince competed at Oregon, where current TCU head coach Mark Campbell served as an assistant. Prince started her collegiate career at Texas, spending one year with the Horns.
The 2025 WNBA Draft will be held on Monday, April 14. TCU could have as many as three players (Prince, Madison Conner and Hailey Van Lith) selected in this year’s draft.
