The Horned Frogs secure one of the top players in college hoops and a projected top-2 WNBA draft choice.
Less than two weeks after taking on the Horned Frogs in the Sweet Sixteen, Notre Dame star guard Olivia Miles chose to forego the 2025 WNBA Draft in favor of entering the transfer portal. A projected No. 2 overall choice, Miles has made her college decision, with multiple reports Tuesday morning indicating that the 5-foot-10 senior guard will be taking her talents to Fort Worth and playing for head coach Mark Campbell and TCU next year.

Miles averaged 15.4 points, 5.8 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game during the 2024-25 season, helping lead Notre Dame to a 28-6 record as well as an ACC title and a trip to the Sweet Sixteen, where the Fighting Irish fell to the Horned Frogs 71-62. A three-time All-ACC honoree, Miles has played in 101 games with 95 starts over her four years with Notre Dame. Miles, who enjoyed her best offensive season statistically in 2024-25, converted a career-high 48.3 percent of shots and a career-high 40.6 percent of her 3-pointers. Miles was projected to be the No. 2 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft behind UConn star Paige Bueckers.

The addition of Miles continues a stellar recruiting trend for Campbell and his staff, who signed former LSU and Louisville guard Hailey Van Lith last offseason. Van Lith enjoyed arguably her best collegiate season as a Horned Frog, earning multiple All-American honors as well as All-Big 12 First Team and Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Year awards. Van Lith led TCU to its first-ever Elite Eight appearance this season, averaging 17.9 points, 5.4 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game. Prior to Van Lith’s arrival, TCU signed former Oregon center Sedona Prince and former Arizona guard Madison Conner through the transfer portal, with both players going on to become All-Big 12 First Team recipients for the 2024-25 campaign.
Miles has been one of the top guards in women’s college basketball over the last three years, earning AP Second-Team All-American honors twice and taking home USBWA All-American honors twice over that span. Miles will be an immediate high-level contributor for the Horned Frogs, who turned in a historic 2024-25 season in which TCU went 34-4 while winning both the Big 12 regular season and tournament championships. Van Lith, Prince and Conner are among several veteran players who will be departing from the roster.
