The senior guard made nine 3-pointers to lead the Horned Frogs to a dominant victory
Coming off a game where the Horned Frogs made just three three-point attempts in the season opener, TCU splashed 16 shots from long range on Sunday in a dominant 107-52 victory over the New Orleans Privateers. Nine of those made buckets from beyond the arc came from Madison Conner as she dropped 30 points, shooting 53% from deep. The senior guard reached the milestone point total for the 4th time as a Horned Frog, matching a program record for 30-point games.

Conner’s point total gets the spotlight, but it was an all-around standout performance from her, filling the stat sheet with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. The dominant day wasn’t just reserved to the sharpshooter however as four Horned Frogs finished with a plus/minus of 50+, three of which had on-court +/- greater than total points scored from the Privateers. After starring in the season opener, center Sedona Prince and guard Hailey Van Lith served supporting roles on Sunday, each recording double-doubles with 12 rebounds a piece and combining for 30 points. Prince added five blocks to her tally, giving her a nation-leading 11 for the season. Another game as a key boost in the post off the bench, Aaliyah Roberson was a force, grabbing nine rebounds and splashing a three-pointer. Starting guard Taylor Bigby was another of the +50 players, offering major contribution with 17 points on 58% shooting with 4 boards, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

It wasn’t all perfect for the Horned Frogs, as TCU gave away 21 turnovers after committing just five in the previous game, but in a game you win by 55 points it’s hard to find too many faults in the game.
