TCU outfielder Austin Davis put his body on the line to make a spectacular grab Saturday.
The Horned Frogs held a 5-4 lead over Cal State Fullerton when Davis chased down a foul boul in the seventh inning. His hat fell, and Davis quickly followed when diving over the guardrail and into the bullpen.
He flipped over, appearing to land on his head, but still secured a sensational catch that garnered the No. 1 spot on SportsCenter‘s Top 10 Plays.

This isn’t the first time Davis has made a remarkable catch. Two years ago, he robbed Texas of a grand slam while playing for West Virginia. He transferred to TCU last summer.
Following his savvy glovework, Davis hit an RBI double during an eight-run eighth inning that cemented TCU’s 13-4 victory Saturday. He’s batting .275/.371/.472 with seven home runs and 15 stolen bases this season.
The Horned Frogs are 26-21 entering Sunday’s rubber match against Cal State Fullerton.
