The Horned Frogs will face Hawaii in the first round.
The TCU women’s volleyball team will compete in the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season under head coach Jason Williams. The Horned Frogs, who went 21-7 overall and finished fifth with a 13-5 mark in the Big 12 Conference this season, will face Hawaii in the first round, which will be hosted at Oregon on Dec. 5. The winner advances to take on either No. 4 seed Oregon or High Point University. TCU earned a No. 5 seed in the bracket.

TCU was ranked No. 22 in the final AVCA Poll released on Nov. 24. A win over Hawaii could move the Horned Frogs into a second-round matchup against Oregon, who concluded the regular season with a No. 13 rank in the AVCA Poll. But in order to face the Ducks, TCU must first get past the Warriors from Hawaii, who won the Big West Conference title and finished with a 21-9 record in the regular season. High Point University went 23-6 overall and won the Big South Conference title to clinch its berth in the NCAA Tournament.

TCU has advanced to the second round over each of the last two postseason tournaments. The Horned Frogs went 17-15 overall last season, defeating Florida State in the first round before falling against Arkansas in the second round. TCU knocked off Washington before losing against Wisconsin over the first and second rounds of the tournament two years ago.
