Wide receivers Jack Bech, Savion Williams and snapper Brent Matiscik participated in the annual event at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
TCU wide receivers Jack Bech and Savion Williams, along with snapper Brent Matiscik, were among the hundreds of collegiate football players participating in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis this past week. The annual event allows collegiate players to conduct interviews with teams and media members and showcase their physical talents with on-field drills and combine workouts including the 40-yard dash. Below is a summary of the performances from TCU’s three participating athletes.
TCU WR Savion Williams said the 49ers would be one of the best fits for him because of how the Niners have used Deebo Samuel.

WR Jack Bech (6’1”, 214 pounds, 31.5” arms, 9” hands)
The former LSU transfer Bech, who was named MVP of the 2025 Senior Bowl after scoring the game-winning touchdown, did not participate in the 40-yard dash. However, Bech showed a 34.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 5-inch broad jump as well as 19 reps on the bench press, which ranked second among all wide receiver prospects. Bech clocked in at 6.84 seconds in the 3-cone drill and 4.21 seconds in the 20-yard shuttle drill, both of which ranked eighth among all wide receivers. His Next Gen Stats score of 75 ranked 15th.

WR Savion Williams (6’4”, 222 pounds, 32.5” arms, 10.25” hands)
Williams only ran the 40-yard dash at the combine, but his official time of 4.48 seconds and his 10-yard split of 1.58 seconds are excellent for a receiver of his size. Williams, who was one of only a few prospects to work out as both a wide receiver and a running back during the combine, totaled over 900 yards and 12 touchdowns for the TCU offense in 2024. NFL analyst Lance Zierlein has compared Williams to wide receiver and return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson. Williams received a Next Gen Stats score of 78, which ranks 11th.

SNAPPER Brent Matiscik (6’2”, 235 pounds)
Matiscik was one of only five snappers nationally to be invited to the combine’s Specialist Showcase. Matiscik, who served as a team captain for the Horned Frogs in 2024, spent six seasons with the program and began his career as a tight end before moving to snapper.
