The 2025 transfer portal has been open for a week and TCU Football has picked up its first new addition of the winter window with the signing of former Washington State transfer defensive lineman Ansel Din-Mbuh.

The Aledo, TX native was a three-star prospect out of high school in the Class of 2023, ranking as a top-150 defensive lineman nationally. Seeing action in 10 games during his true freshman season in Pullman, Din-Mbuh recorded two tackles. During his sophomore campaign in 2024 the 6-foot-3 291-pound defensive tackle accounted for 24 stops, with seven for loss with six sacks, including a three-sack game in the Cougars win at San Diego State.
Din-Mbuh brings some much-needed support to a defensive front that ranked among the worst Power 4 units against the run and several key contributors exhausting eligibility. Expect the big man from Aledo to see early snaps when the Horned Frogs open the 2025 season in Chapel Hill, NC vs. the UNC Tar Heels and new head coach Bill Belichick on August 30.
