The former All-Big 12 First Teamer will compete professionally this coming fall.
Another member of the TCU soccer program will be competing professionally in the USL Super League this coming fall. Shortly after former Horned Frog midfielder Gracie Brian signed with the Dallas Trinity FC, goalkeeper Lauren Kellett has signed with the Tampa Bay Sun FC for the upcoming 2024 season. Kellett was a member of the TCU soccer team for four seasons, appearing in 69 matches with 67 starts and recording 215 career saves.

Kellett received First-Team All-Big 12 honors during both the 2021 and 2022 seasons. The Coppell, Texas native was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region First Team during the 2021 campaign, when she was also named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Year. Kellett finished her collegiate career with an .802 save percentage and a 41-14-10 win-loss-draw record. Kellett recorded 28 shutouts and logged 5,943 minutes as a Horned Frog.
The USL Super League, which carries Division I status under U.S. Soccer, will feature eight teams including the Dallas Trinity FC, Brooklyn FC, Carolina Ascent FC, DC Power FC, Fort Lauderdale United FC, Lexington SC, Tampa Bay Sun FC and Spokane Zephyr FC. The USL Super League is owned and operated by the United Soccer League and had planned to launch last year before being postponed to this year.
