The former Horned Frog forward will compete in the summer league.
Former TCU forward Emanuel Miller has signed with the Dallas Mavericks and will compete in the upcoming NBA 2K25 Summer League set to take place in Las Vegas from July 12-22. The Scarborough, Ontario native began his career suiting up for the Texas A&M Aggies. He spent two seasons in College Station before transferring to the Horned Frogs as a junior. He started in 99 of 100 appearances for the Frogs. Over his TCU career, the 6-foot-7 forward recorded 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

Miller improved mightily over his three seasons in Fort Worth. The Canadian wing averaged only 10.3 points and connected on just 11 three-pointers as a junior. By his senior season, Miller began to operate more as a playmaker and attempt a higher volume of shots from beyond the arc. While he still displayed his assertiveness on the glass and all-around tenacity, he continued to fine-tune his game. As a graduate senior, Miller took over as the Horned Frogs’ go-to scorer. He led the team in scoring, rebounds, and minutes. Miller averaged 15.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and knocked down 31 three-pointers at a 38.3 percent clip.
The All-Big 12 Honoree will compete against his former teammate, Jameer Nelson Jr., in the summer league. Nelson Jr. will suit up for the Mavericks’ cross-state rivals, the San Antonio Spurs. Look for Miller to make an impact on Dallas’ summer league squad. After only selecting one prospect in last month’s draft, the Mavericks appear poised to use the summer league to add talent to both the roster, and their G-League affiliate—the Texas Legends. The Mavericks will tip off on Saturday, July 13 at 9:30 p.m. CT against the Utah Jazz.
