- TCU and Texas are tied for the NCAA lead in total wins.
- The Horned Frogs and Longhorns boast an identical win percentage (.919). The figure trails only No. 1 overall seed UCLA (.943) for the national lead.
- The programs are colliding for the 57th time and first in postseason play.
- Hailey Van Lith ousted the Longhorns from the 2023 NCAA Tournament. She scored 21 points to lead Louisville past Texas, 73-51, in Austin in the round of 32.
- Sedona Prince spent her freshman season at Texas in 2018-19. She committed to the Longhorns in the eighth grade circa 2014.
- Mark Campbell and Vic Schaefer are coaching against one another in the Elite Eight for the second time. Campbell helped lead Oregon past Mississippi State and to its first Final Four in the 2019 NCAA Portland Regional final during his tenure as associate head coach in Eugene. Both Campbell and Schaefer were in their penultimate seasons on the sidelines at their respective institutions.

- TCU’s combined 26-game year-over win improvement over the last two seasons is the largest of any Power Conference team.
- The Horned Frogs’ 34 wins are tied for the fourth-most in a season by a Big 12 Conference team. TCU is also the first Big 12 team not named Baylor to win 34 games or more in a season.
- The Frogs have won five straight games over ranked teams and are one of just six programs nationwide to do so in 2024-25.
- TCU has led at halftime in 34 of its 37 games, second only to UConn across the national ranks.
- TCU’s’ 13-game winning streak is the second-longest in program history, trailing only their run of 14 straight victories to begin the Mark Campbell era in 2023-24.
- The Horned Frogs lead the nation in 3-pointers (350).
- TCU’s 662 threes over the last two seasons are the most ever by a Big 12 team in a two-year period and are the third-most of any D1 program since 2023.

- TCU scored 74 points per game vs. Big 12 opposition after averaging 62.2 in 2023-24. The +11.8 points per game increase in league play was the sixth-largest in all of Division I basketball.
- TCU’s eight senior or graduate level players average 63.9 combined points per game. The net senior scoring average ranks seventh among all D1 programs and first at the Power Conference level.
- TCU shot 50 percent from the field (22-44) in Saturday’s win over Notre Dame. The Horned Frogs have connected at or above a 50 percent clip in three straight games and 18 times this season.
- The Horned Frogs are one of only two teams in Big 12 history to capture a league title within two seasons of finishing in last place.
- TCU is the sole team at the Power Conference level to win both an undisputed regular season league title and conference tournament championship.
- TCU’s jump of 10 regular season conference victories from last season (seven) to this season (19) is the largest in Division I basketball.
