How do fans feel about the Horned Frogs this upcoming season?
Last week, I took to Twitter (or X) to ask Frog fans how they felt about the upcoming football season. I decided to use Twitter because of the app’s large presence of TCU fans. Overall, there were some mixed opinions and predictions for their team. Here is what the fans had to say…
O-Line
The general consensus was that there are several question marks surrounding the Offensive Line Unit. In 2023, this unit saw some struggles. However, fans are hopeful that the transfers will help strengthen the line. Some believe the success of the offense hinges on the ability of the offensive line.
There’s a lot to prove. The offense has the potential but it all starts with the offensive line. If they are average to above average it will be a fun season. Corner depth is concerning, Linebacker and Safety depth is as good as I have seen it in a long time. DLine can be great.

Defense
Many frog faithful are also excited to see the new Avalos defense. At times, the 2023 defensive unit struggled to get after the Quarterback. Fans hope that Avalos’ hybrid defensive scheme will generate more pressure on the opposing Quarterback.
Can’t wait to see the Avalos defense!! https://t.co/epsrXNvU7u

Expectations
While there was agreement on the offensive line and defensive, the expectations for TCU’s overall record were somewhat of a mixed bag. One fan believes that the Horned Frogs will reach the Big 12 Championship game, while others are not as convinced.
I think we have what it takes to at least make it to the B12 Championship. The transfers are bringing the energy we needed

Despite the difference of opinions, most fans were either optimistic or cautiously optimistic for the upcoming football season. This particular fan seems to be all in for Horned Frog Football, no matter the results.
