Hailey Van Lith is not in the WNBA yet, but she did attend the Orange Carpet at WNBA All-Star Weekend on Thursday.
Van Lith is in Phoenix as part of USA Basketball’s 3×3 team for the upcoming Paris Olympics. Not surprisingly, she left her impression with her fashion choice last night.
Van Lith rocked a grey business style “office siren” outfit with a skirt and a cropped jacket, complete with white blouse underneath and high heels.
“@haileyvanlith in @alexanderwangny on the Orange Carpet 🧡 #WNBAAllStar,” GQ Sports said on Instagram.
Van Lith could have entered the 2024 WNBA Draft, but she opted to transfer to TCU for her final season of eligibility.
The 5-foot-7 lefty guard spent 2023-24 at LSU, where she helped the Tigers reach the Elite Eight but did not have the type of impact many expected.
“Her aspirations were to get drafted this year,” LSU head coach Kim Mulkey said at a team banquet following the season, according to NOLA.com. “And she realized, ‘I need another year and I need to go back to a place where I can relax and get back to my normal position. And what do you do? You hug her, and you wish her well.”
Van Lith, 22, began her college career at Louisville, spending three seasons with the Cardinals. She helped the United States win gold at the FIBA 3×3 World Cup last year and will now look to do the same at the Olympics this month.
