Hailey Van Lith may have left the LSU Tigers basketball team in favor of the TCU Horned Frogs, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be working alongside her former teammates in other areas of her life.
According to Talia Goodman of On3 Sports, Van Lith has joined forces with former LSU teammate Flau’jae Johnson on a new NIL deal in partnership with Apple Cash. The announcement was revealed as part of a new social media campaign by Apple Cash on social media:
“Commissioned by #AppleCash. Basketball is a piece of cake. So is sending cash. @haileyvanlith @flaujae,” the post on Instagram said.

Van Lith joined LSU as a transfer from Louisville this past season and helped the Tigers return to the Elite Eight in 2024 after winning the national title the year before. During her one season with the Tigers, Van Lith averaged 11.6 points and 3.6 assists per game.
Johnson was a part of that national championship team, earning Freshman of the Year honors in the process. Over her two seasons with the Tigers she has averaged 13 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
But with Angel Reese leaving LSU, the Tigers might not be as successful in the 2024-25 season as they were over the past couple of years.
South Carolina is still the dominant power in SEC basketball and don’t look to be falling off anytime soon.
Who is more likely to make a deep NCAA Tournament run next year: Van Lith and TCU or Johnson and LSU?
