The do-it-all offensive weapon gained 933 scrimmage yards and 12 TDs for the Frogs in 2022
The second Horned Frog wide receiver came off the board on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft with the Green Bay Packers selecting Savion Williams in the Third Round, 87th overall. A Swiss Army Knife weapon for the Horned Frogs sparked the TCU offense in the run game in addition to his talent as a receiver. The Marshall, TX native amassed 60 receptions for 611 yards and 6 touchdowns, 322 rushing yards on 6.3 yards per carry with 6 scores on the ground, and even completed 3 passes including a TD toss to fellow 2025 draftee Jack Bech.
A four-star prospect and top-30 rated WR in the 2020 recruiting class, playing five seasons with the Horned Frogs. Williams became a major contributor in the 2022 campaign, starting all 15 games as TCU completed an undefeated regular season and run to the National Championship Game. Williams’ 60 receptions in 2024 is the 10th most in a single season in TCU history and his 14 career touchdowns ranks 8th all time for the Horned Frogs.
