The do-it-all weapon becomes second Horned Frogs receiver to join this year’s NFL Draft showcase
Another TCU Football pass-catcher will be headed to Mobile for the 2025 Senior Bowl with the announcement Thursday that Savion Williams has accepted an invitation to the NFL Draft all-star showcase, joining Jack Bech on the roster. He also happens to be a ball carrier and even a pass-thrower when needed as the Marshall, TX native was TCU’s leading rusher over the second half of the season and also completed all three of his pass attempts including a TD to Bech.

A former four-star high school prospect, Williams has elite size and explosive athleticism at 6-foot-5 225 pounds. A loyal Horned Frog, Williams returned kicks as a true freshman in 2020 and spent five seasons in Fort Worth amassing 2,039 total scrimmage yards with 20 touchdowns.
Williams currently ranks as the 130th overall player on NFL Draft big boards, per Mock Draft Database, slotting as the 16th WR. Given his Swiss Army Knife versatility, scouts and coaches are sure to sure to value Williams as a valuable weapon and he should see that draft stock continue to rise throughout the process and should be able to show-out in these Senior Bowl practices and with elite measurables at the NFL Combine. The Senior Bowl practices are slated for the last week of January 2025 in Mobile, AL, with the game to be played on Saturday, February 1st at 1:30 PM, broadcast on NFL Network.
