The Horned Frog standout caught six passes for 68 yards including the game-winning touchdown.
TCU wide receiver Jack Bech concluded a stellar week at the 2025 Senior Bowl with an MVP performance during the annual competition on Saturday afternoon. After being voted as the Practice Player of the Week for the American team, Bech went on to catch six passes for 68 yards and score the game-winning touchdown to lead the American team over the National team 22-19. It was a poetic finish for Bech, who wore the No. 7 in honor of his late brother, Tiger Bech, who tragically lost his life in the recent New Orleans terror attack. With seven seconds remaining, Bech scored on a 2-yard touchdown reception for his team.

Bech hauled in the touchdown reception from Memphis Tiger quarterback Seth Henigan. The former Horned Frog receiver made a slew of highlight-reel plays during practice and continues to draw attention from NFL scouts for his contested-catch ability and his route running. Bech earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors during the 2024 season, when he led TCU with 1,034 receiving yards and nine touchdown grabs. Bech was one of two Horned Frogs who were invited to participate in the Senior Bowl this season. Wide receiver Savion Williams, who had 933 total yards and 12 scores for TCU, did not participate in the game.

Bech helped lead TCU to a 9-4 record and a 6-3 record in the Big 12 this season. The former LSU transfer has been rising up draft boards, with recent mocks suggesting he could be taken as early as the fourth round. Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy reported on Friday that Bech was voted as the top wide receiver on the American team in Practice Player of the Week voting by participating cornerbacks and safeties. Bech will likely be the first TCU athlete to hear his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft later this year. Among the Horned Frogs who’ve declared are Savion Williams as well as Johnny Hodges, NaNa Osafo-Mensah, JaTravis Broughton, LaMareon James, Bless Harris and Cooper McDonald.
