Brown’s previous coaching experience includes two seasons at Fresno State (2020-21) as well as one season with Texas Tech (2019) and three seasons with Utah State (2016-18). Brown worked alongside current TCU defensive coordinator Andy Avalos at Boise State from 2014-15 and had previous stops at Arkansas State (2013) and Troy (2012). Brown began his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at Boise State, working under former head coach Chris Petersen. Brown’s first stint with the Broncos went from 2006 to 2011.
Kirsch arrived at TCU in December 2021 and began his career as a senior offensive analyst before receiving a promotion to tight ends coach. Before TCU, Kirsch was an offensive graduate assistant under Sonny Dykes at SMU. As a player, Kirsch was a consensus FCS All-America offensive lineman at James Madison, helping lead the Dukes to a 2016 National Championship. He was the Virginia Collegiate Athlete of the Year in 2017, before signing a free-agent contract with the Chicago Bears.
